2020 Las Reñas Monastrell

Bullas (BOO-yass) is one of the oldest winemaking regions in Spain, dating back to Roman times. Apart from the history, what we love best about this region is the local grape—Monastrell—which is super juicy, rich, and fruity. Bullas is also home to very old vines growing at seriously high altitudes, which imparts lovely concentration and freshness to the fruit. Those are qualities you can’t easily find in wines at this price point. You’ll taste what we mean when you get some of Las Reñas in your glass. It was made by our friends over at the acclaimed Bodegas del Rosario and they are EXPERTS at getting every last drop of Monastrell flavor into their fabulous wines. Bold aromas and flavors of strawberry, red currant, and plum greet you, then curl into fresh herb and floral nuances on the long and intriguing finish.
