Overview: Near Sorgono, in the geographical center of Sardinia, I work on three vineyard plots: the first in Bau Perdosu planted as a sapling by Tziu Maureddu Carta, about seventy years ago. The other two in Pischina, on mostly centenary vineyards, exposed to the east, south-east, of classic Mandrolisai varieties, with very low yields. The soils are white granite.
