The star-drive head resists “cam-out’ better than a Phillips, slot or square head screw. Which means it can handle higher torque without damaging the screw head or your tool. It’s also easier to enter your driver into the screw head because there are more entry points in one revolution. This will save you lots of time especially on bigger projects.
